This is a beautiful house near the village of Cortona, on a green hill overlooking the Valdichiana valley.
This house used to be an old ruin, and after renovating it the owners picked simple and contemporary furnishings, but did not forget to add touch of colours recalling the typical wooden furniture of this area.

The bathroom has a florentine terracotta flooring, the washbasin cabinet is made of reclaimed pine wood and the timber used to frame the mirror comes from an old window.
The whole house is furnished with our three-layers oak parquet flooring with oil finishing. The kitchen has a simple and linear style and the doors of the cabinet were made with old wine barrels' boards. The fireplace is custom-made, and reuses old doorsteps and a salvaged travertine step.
A beautiful and cosy house in one of the most beautiful Tuscan landscape.
